Roger Federer has a special message for Siya Kolisi’s daughter Keziah Kolisi

Notably, few people know that Federer has deep ties to South Africa through his mother. Moreover, the Swiss maestro is the rugby champion, the friend of Siya Kolisi for a long time now.

During the Match in Africa, Kolisi gave Federer the Springboks jersey. Likewise, the 20-time Grand Slam champion admitted he became emotional when Kolisi’s side won the 2019 Rugby World Cup.

This time around, 30-year-old South Africa has become a tour guide for Federer. The Swiss maestro shared his photos on Twitter. He wrote, “Does anyone need a tour guide? I found a Springbok roaming the streets of Zurich. What a pleasure to see you, Siya.

Interestingly, Kolisi asked Federer to wish his daughter, Keziah Kolisi, a birthday from inside the Chocolate House. Indeed, that would itself make a special gift.

On the tennis side, the 40-year-old still has a long way to go before resuming training. Previously, Federer had announced that he would start light jogging from January of next year.

When to expect Federer’s return in 2022?

As a first step, Federer has confirmed that he will not be competing in the 2022 Australian Open. In addition, he is looking forward to starting his tennis training in March-April of next year.
