Business Analyst at QES – IT-Online

My client based in Cape Town (North) is currently looking for a Financial Business Analyst to join him on an independent contractual basis

Role:
Finance Business Analyzer to support clients IFRS 17 program

Work’s extent:

• Assist with the full IFRS 17 balance sheet, income statement (both IFRS and shareholders’ funds) and rating tests. The tasks include:
• Examining and testing the integration between the following source systems and the fund accounting engine:
• General ledger S / 4HANA
• SAP IA
• Overlay template
• Examining and testing the automation programmed in the FAE to generate IFRS 17 results
• Test the HFM integration between FAE and HFM to ensure that the accounts are correctly entered.
• Review and test of IFRS 17 consolidated results within HFM
• Help with the creation of extracts to fill the HFM entry packs. Link the extracts to the HFM Input pack
• Help provide training and support to end users
• Help rebuild key workbooks and reports
• Assist in the documentation of the end-to-end IFRS 17 process

To live:

• Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent
• Understanding of accounting systems
• At least 3 years of experience in the design and / or testing of financial systems.
• Good knowledge of the financial services industry and preferably the insurance industry
• The following experience would be an advantage, but is not required
• HFM experience
• Financial project experience
• SAP S / 4Hana experience
• Understanding of IFRS 17
