Another alternative to Jesse Lingard has entered the transfer equation to West Ham United according to new reports from France.
David Moyes is patiently waiting to see if Lingard’s return to West Ham is a possibility following his sensational loan spell last season.
With Manchester United adding Cristiano Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho to a squad already filled with quality options in Lingard’s place, Moyes may be hoping he can convince the 28-year-old to return to the London stadium.

But with Tuesday’s transfer deadline looming and a busy season with European football ahead, West Ham can’t afford to take any chances.
West Ham has been linked with Nikola Vlasic as a potential Lingard alternative.
And now a new option has been named in the form of attacking midfielder and wide man Jeremie Boga.

According to Mercato on foot and Receive French football news, West Ham – along with today’s opponents Crystal Palace and former club Moyes Everton – have inquired about the Sassuolo star’s signing ahead of the deadline.
“The 24-year-old also attracted interest from Italian clubs this summer, including Napoli and Atalanta, with Boga’s contract lasting until the end of the coming season,” he added. Mercato on foot and Receive French football news report.
“It now looks like a move to England could be considered in the final week of the window for the forward, who has been with the Neroverdi since 2018 and has notably scored 11 goals in the 2019/20 season.”
Moyes leaning towards the attacking midfielder who can replace the forward after the attacker’s difficulties?
Moyes admitted he struggled to recruit a striker to compete with Michail Antonio at West Ham.
And the suggestion is that West Ham could instead bring in an attacking midfielder who – like Lingard – can also function as a second striker if needed.
Boga, a former French youth international, fits that description and also the profile of the player Moyes loves – athletic, powerful, fast and of a good age.
It remains to be seen whether West Ham will be more interested in the Ivorian international.
But with three days remaining, West Ham fans won’t have to wait long to find out.
