AIDA Cruises will sail to 20 countries and four continents on AIDAsol’s new global cruise

ROSTOCK, Germany, June 17, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Following the great success of past global travel, AIDA Cruises today announced that AIDAsol will be taking its first global cruise in the winter of 2022-2023, a 117-day adventure that includes passing Cape Horn and Cape of Good Hope and visit destinations such as Glacier Alley, Tierra del Fuego, Mauritius, The cap and New Year’s Eve at Sydney. In addition to popular destinations, AIDAsol will make the first port calls at Suva in Fiji, Nuku’alofa in the Polynesian kingdom of Tonga, Mystery Island at Vanuatu, Isle of Pines at New Caledonia and Geraldton in Australia.

Of October 26, 2022, AIDAsol will call at 43 ports in 20 different countries on four continents, cross the international date line and cross the equator twice. Of Hamburg, the ship will first set sail for South America. After stopovers in the Canary Islands and Cape Verde Islands, dream destinations like Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Ushuaia and Chile are waiting for the guests.

From there, AIDAsol continues west to Tahiti, Bora Bora, Tonga, Fiji, Vanuatu (Christmas), New Caledonia and Australia at Mauritius. Guests welcome the New Year in the magical setting of Sydney.

The last leg of the trip takes guests aboard AIDAsol via Reunion Island for South Africa and Namibia. On the way back to Europe, travelers visit Tenerife and Madeira. The journey continues via Lisbon and Cherbourg /France, at Hamburg, where it ends on February 20, 2023.

In addition, three stages of the world cruise can be booked. The duration of the trip varies between 30 and 48 days – a perfect opportunity to fulfill the dream of a unique trip in shorter stages. For example, AIDA guests can travel from Hamburg at San Antonio in 36 days, from San Antonio at Mauritius in 48 days or from Mauritius at Hamburg in 33 days.

The world cruise initially planned with AIDAsol from October 2021 at February 2022 will be postponed. As an alternative, AIDA welcomes guests who had been booked on this cruise to re-rent the Global Cruise from October 2022 at February 2023 with attractive credit on board.
