“The most liberating achievement for entrepreneurs is: nobody cares about you!

Serial entrepreneur Nic Haralambous explains why unfounded social fears will limit you and your side goals from hustling.

“Nobody cares about you,” says Nic Haralambous, entrepreneur and author (How to Start a Side Hustle).

It’s a positive thing when it comes to entrepreneurship because achievement sets you free, he says.

“When you understand that no one cares about you, you can finally do what you want to do, say what you want to say and start building.”

Keep in mind these three limiting truths:

– We hold back because we worry about what our friends / colleagues are going to say.

– We don’t talk about our ideas in case someone steals them.

– We are afraid of failure because we will look stupid.

Haralambous chats with Bruce Whitfield on The Money Show.

He says that an offshoot of the social media explosion encouraging us to post whatever we do has made us very aware of ourselves, culturally.

Here’s the thing – no one really cares about you! I mean this in the most enjoyable, precious, and liberating way.
